"The most beautiful and characterful place we stayed in England - period. Full of character, charm and with a lovely peaceful garden… a stunning view from our bedroom…gorgeous walks…we cannot wait to return"
Guest Review
"The regal lions and mischievous macaques in neighbouring Longleat Safari Park are the real draw. The park is five minutes away by car and is full of stately yellow lime trees and flaming bronze beeches"
The Guardian

Lauren
Lauren
/ Host
Lauren has worked for us for a long time, with some other places in between lucky to have her. Lauren came to the South West from her native Zimbabwe – how she got here nobody knows, but we are very glad she did as she has hospitality in her soul.
Brianna
Brianna
/ Host
A sweet nature and a warm heart make Brianna a natural waitress and host. With straight As and a perfect report card at school it’s wonder she isn't running the place by now.
Michelle
Michelle
/ Reservations
Michelle knows everything like the all seeing eye . As the most organised of everyone, and with an eye for detail, it's lucky she looks after reservations and functions. When not looking after guests she is busy looking after her dogs and walking her husband.
Floyd
Floyd
/ Publican
Floyd – never seen wearing a jacket –and the obvious choice as publican of The Bath Arms – he says he came here first when he was three. He probably ordered a pint – how times have changed. When not working he’s on other familial duties.
Jack
Jack
/ Chef
Jack plays hard but works harder. A very talented chef, and full of youthful zeal, who has been earning his spurs at The Beckford over many years. He’s now set to gallop in the kitchen, if that is possible, or indeed allowed.
Luke
Luke
/ Head Host
Luke is just a lovely, all round charming man. A delight to talk to about anything and a natty dresser in the shoe and sock department.
