Horningsham is a beautiful village with many fabulous walks in the countryside. The stunning Longleat estate is right on our doorstep and gives guests the chance to explore landscaped gardens, Elizabethan architecture and an excellent safari park. Slightly further afield we are surrounded by numerous attractions and activities. Explore the city of Bath, a thirty-five drive away from the pub and discover its Roman history and Georgian architecture. Back at the pub, we welcome walkers and cyclists with drinks and bar snacks served daily. There is plenty of seating and a designated place to store bikes.

There are many great walks here from romantic walks around the village to local hikes for the more advanced explorers. Be sure to bring your wellies - although we do have a small selection available to borrow if you forget yours.
Somerset is lucky enough to have some great Art Galleries. From Hauser and Wirth in nearby Bruton for contemporary art to the classic collections in both The Victoria Gallery and Holburne Museum in Bath.
